An Introduction from the Editor, Dr. Rozeta Bicaku

 

COMM 203 Observer: Beyond the Surface is a student-driven publication that highlights feature articles developed in the COMM 203 Information Gathering course. The project emphasizes the importance of moving beyond surface-level research by encouraging students to gather information from multiple sources, including firsthand interviews. Through this process, students learn that no single source can fully represent a story; instead, a clear and complete picture emerges only when different perspectives are carefully combined and analyzed. By integrating research, critical thinking, and real-world engagement, the project not only strengthens students’ writing skills but also showcases the value of inquiry-based learning for a wider academic audience.
