Mentorship Guided by late-night discussions and 5 a.m. brainstorming sessions, our mentor’s advice kept us focused and motivated. 5. Tips that can help you to enhance your entrepreneurial talent: Begin by participating in events such as Pitch night at the university to be creative and showcase your potential. Here is how: Follow your passion. Bring your classroom ideas alive in the real world. Apply your classroom knowledge and content to real-world scenarios. Build your network. Seek mentorship! Begin by engaging with your professors; seek support! Develop time management skills. Have a clear idea. The focus of the idea should be long-term. Understand and organize your ideas. Research extensively and intensively. Prior to the event, research your panel of investors’ profiles to understand the impact you would want to create on each one of them subjectively. Brainstorm and prepare for all the questions and answers (Q&A) prior to the event. Prepare and practice! While presenting your idea: Engage with the audience and the investors/panelists. As time is limited, focus on the relevant aspects and information. Make it productive and fun at the same time. Maintain eye contact. Know what you are doing. Adapt to situations. Be confident! Finally, by practicing in this safe environment, it will better prepare you for the real world.
