Preparation Every detail of the pitch, from delivery to visuals, was refined tirelessly, even up to the last minute. 3. Teamwork Our effective collaboration allowed us to overcome moments of doubt and frustration, turning challenges into creative solutions. 4. Mentorship Guided by late-night discussions and 5 a.m. brainstorming sessions, our mentor’s advice kept us focused and motivated. 5. Creativity We used engaging visuals and compelling storytelling techniques to captivate the judges and audience, making our idea unforgettable. 6. Resilience Faced with setbacks, we turned each obstacle into an opportunity to strengthen our proposal and presentation. 7. Adaptability We handled unexpected questions from the judges with precision, demonstrating a deep understanding of our project. 8. Persistence Despite the pressure of competition, we stayed committed and focused on our vision, never losing sight of our goal. 9. Conviction Our belief in our solution shone through in our presentation, showcasing the impact and importance of our idea. 10. Impact We left a lasting impression on the judges and audience with a memorable solution that stood out from the rest. Tips that can help you to enhance your entrepreneurial talent: Begin by participating in events such as Pitch night at the university to be creative and showcase your potential. Here is how: Follow your passion. Bring your classroom ideas alive in the real world. Apply your classroom knowledge and content to real-world scenarios. Build your network. Seek mentorship! Begin by engaging with your professors; seek support! Develop time management skills. Have a clear idea. The focus of the idea should be long-term. Understand and organize your ideas. Research extensively and intensively. Prior to the event, research your panel of investors’ profiles to understand the impact you would want to create on each one of them subjectively. Brainstorm and prepare for all the questions and answers (Q&A) prior to the event. Prepare and practice! While presenting your idea: Engage with the audience and the investors/panelists. As time is limited, focus on the relevant aspects and information. Make it productive and fun at the same time. Maintain eye contact. Know what you are doing. Adapt to situations. Be confident! Finally, by practicing in this safe environment, it will better prepare you for the real world.
